A Bible timeline and expounding the Scriptures nowadays

In our Bible reading and study several years back, a colleague who had been a Savvy Christian & served well in the church life for many years, made this declaration, “Yes, but Abraham was versed in the Ceremonial Law and so he grasped with reference to……” (she was not contemplating the pre-Moses laws) I question how many Believers might if truth be told notice the wrongness in this bold assertion. Truly, how can a minister master and share the Scripture in correctness not knowledge about a sect that was really quite strong in the Church of acts? And then how can the church body endeavor to discern these topics and be efficient to study their Scripture.

Why do we believers get fixed in a routine of beloved?s issues and feel-good preaching?
