A Bible timeline and teaching the Word at the moment

In the midst of Scripture reading & study several years ago, a participant who had been a Firmly established Christian & assisted actively in the church for many long years, pronounced this statement, “Even so, but Abraham abided by the Old Testament Law and so he understood about……” (she was not considering the pre-Mosaic laws) I question how many Christians might in reality detect the erroneousness in this bold assertion. Moses arrived on the scene 5 hundred long years after Abraham and so it’s impractical. I later come up with a Bible timeline chart and shown a visual of the calendar of Bible main characters & various happenings.

Unfortunately, a comparatively huge group of church leaders in the church insist on share hollow preaching and their people will hardly grow and advance in Biblical wisdom. Church leaders are keen to present to us ?moral essays? and ?warming words,? because supposedly, if we as belivers really love a person this is the right thing believers will do. Dont’ worry if God?s people are slipping through the cracks ?for a lack of god’s word?as long as we believers are forever affirming to all peoples.

Equally, a teacher wrongly brought up 1Ti 1:4 …’nor to engage ourselves with legends and non stop genealogical pedigree which aid way-out theories in place of godly teaching which is in a trust in god….’. I attempted to set right that that Bible verse was referring to the pseudo rhetoric and view of Gnostic theory. But he wouldn’t have any of it.
Let me ask, how can a vicar in the biblical imperatives, not know and master on the subject of a religious sect which potentially 1/2 the books & letters of the New Testament refer to?

Realistically, how can a vicar distinguish and preach the Bible in balance with a gap in competentcy about a strange group that was so influential in the Church of the book of acts? And then truly, how could the church assembly possibly to interpret these subject matter and be proficient to figure out their Scripture.

Why do Christians get glued in a mode of much loved?s things and feel-good messages?

We share on a chapter from Malachi and a passage concerning Deborah, a topical discourse from 2 chronicles and then the uprightness of Gideon or the strength or mercifulness of Peter – an excerpt from here and there, but we most usually will not slot it synchronically in a clear, easy-to-remember interpretation acompanied by a good Bible events timeline embracing Church history also.
Endlessly we as belivers are inundated with modernistic literature, modernist theories, some of them regrettably inclined toward Liberal concepts, when if Christians were to be informed about the basic principles of Bible and church historical events and people, we may not be ignorant to repeat it.

We as belivers should as pastors and pastoral leaders join side by side the portions of the Word and intention of God, into a seamless beautiful tapestry which our church members can draw on for the entirity of their lives. Building them to comprehend God, His Immeasurable Purpose, the responsibilities of the Church and how to figure out the Scripture to develop.

It is not onerous to do, and it is not boring if we are set to put in a little study by use of prayer.
