A Biblical events poster and instructing in the Bible at this point

In the midst of Scripture reading and study 2 or three years back, a good buddy who had been a Firmly established believer and took active part in the church service for many years, made this bold assertion, “Even so, but Abraham conformed to the Law of Moses hence he knew on the subject of……” (she clearly indeed was not pertaining to the pre-Mosaic laws) I muse over how many Christians can in truth discern the anomaly in this statement. Moses arrived 5oo long years subsequent to Abraham and so it is impractical. Sometime after that I compiled a Bible timeline chart and displayed graphically the historical record of Scripture main players & events.

Regrettably, a very sizable number of pastoral leaders in the church repeatedly preach wishy-washy addresses and their fellowship scarcely grow and mature in Biblical truth. Teachers like to present to us ?moral essays? as well as ?warming words,? given that apparently, if we Christians truly love a person this is what we as belivers will do. Hard luck if God?s congregation are dropping through the cracks ?for a lack of understanding?as long as Christians are always affirming to all peoples.

In addition, a parson mistakenly stated 1Ti 1:4 …’nor to engage yourselves with legends and exhaustless genealogical pedigree which encourage wayout ideas instead of the divine refining which is in true spiritual faith….’. I endeavoured to set right that that Bible chapter was thinking about the false rhetoric and perspective of Gnostic theory. Nevertheless he would not accept it.
Let me ask, how can a pastor in the biblical imperatives, not be acquainted and interpret with reference to a group that possibly approximately 50% of the books of the NT books oppose?

Truly, how could a preacher understand and preach the Scripture in richness while not conscious about a strange sect which was rather prominent in the New Testament church era? And then realistically, how can the church body wish to interpret these things and be accomplished to study their Scripture.

Why do Christians get locked in a track of precious?s messages and feel-good teachings?

We teach on a verse from Matthew and a passage regarding Esther, a topical sermon from Deuteronomy and then the virtue of Lot or the force or grace of Daniel – a fragment from here and there, but we don’t slot it together in a comprehensible, easy-to-remember perspective with a reasonable Bible timeline banner with The events of church history as well.
Constantly we are bombarded with newfangled publications, modernist philosophies, some of them distressingly postured toward Neo-orthodox theology, when if we were to be informed about the abc’s of Bible and ecclesiastical history and events, we may not be doomed to copy it.

We as belivers really should as teachers and pastors join as one the small parts of the Word and intention of God, into a seamless extraordinary tapestry which our church members could live by for the entirity of their life. Maturing them to understand God, His Big Design, the responsibilities of the Church & how to study the Scripture to grow.

It is not complicated to do, and it?s not boring if we are keen to put in some study acompanied by prayer.
