Whilst in a Scripture study 2 or 3 years ago, a dear friend who had been a Knowledgeable Believer and also had functioned well in the church service for many long years, made this bold assertion, “….certainly, but Abraham knew the God’s Law therefore he grasped as regards to….” (she was not thinking about the pre-Moses Law). I wonder about how many Christians might actually know the fault in this declaration. Moses arose near to 5 0 0 long years following after Abraham and so it is illogical. Sometime later I put together a Bible timeline and shown graphically the historical account of Scripture characters & main events.

Dangerously, a very large number of churchman in the church most always speak wishy-washy messages and their Church Body barely grow and increase in Biblical wisdom. Clergyman like to dispense to us ?moral essays? & ?warming words,? because purportedly, if we as Believers truly love people this is ‘the thing’ that we Believers will do. Rotten luck if God?s congregation are disappearing through the cracks ?for a lack of information? as long as we are ‘nice’ to everyone. Bible timeline

Also, a pastor incorrectly mentioned 1Ti 1:4 …’nor to distract themselves with legends and continual genealogies which promote strange ideas in place of the Divine instruction that is in spiritual faith….’. I attempted to make plain that that Scripture was contemplating the deceitful theology and viewpoint of Gnostic wisdom. However he would not have it.
Let me challenge, how could a vicar in the Biblical doctrines, not be aware of and understand regarding a religious sect that maybe about fifty percent of the writings & books of the New Testament books rebut?

Tell me, how can a minister understand and share the Scripture in balance with a lack in awareness about something which was rather strong in the NT church? And then truly, how could the fellowship endeavor to understand these subjects and be competent to study their Scripture.

Why do we as Christians get caught in a trench of prized themes and feel-good preaching?

We preach on a chapter from Genesis and a piece as regards to Esther, a topical message from Jude and then the faithfulness of Ezra or the strength or praise of John – a part from everywhere, nonetheless we will not fix it synchronically in a recognizable, easy-to-remember panoramic view acompanied by a good Bible timeline chart with The history and events of the church as well.
Perpetually Christians are inundated with fashionable publications, modernist creeds, some of them perilously leaning with favor to Liberal ideas, when if we Believers were to be trained in the basics of God’s Eternal Word and ecclesiastical history and events, we would not be likely to relive it.

We really must as Pastoral leaders, piece together the parts of the Bible and the purpose of God, into a seamless splendid tapestry which our church members could feed on for the whole of their life. Aiding them to understand God, His Immense Intent, the function of the Church as well as how to study the Bible to blossom by.

It?s not complex to do, and it is not boring if we are committed to put in some study and reading with prayer.
