This pastor had worked in the Ministry for 40 years and I wondered how he could possibly in all that time, not learn about something that was so influential in the new Testament period?
A congregation is not going to have much hope of understanding these things if the Pastor does not.

It is so sad to see so many Pastors preaching messages that are shallow and light weight, so that the congregation barely grow in real Bible understanding.
Pastors love to preach 'moral essays' and 'warming affirmations', because if we truly 'love' others, this is what we will do.
So, as long as we are positive and ‘nice’ to everybody it is just too bad, if Christians are falling through the cracks ‘for a lack of knowledge’ (oracle).
I see, ok, the more 'relevant' we become, to the world, the less relevant we all are truly, to the world. :(
