He would in no way accept it when I explained that this Scripture referred to the false teachings of Gnosticism and not of fair enquiry into Scripture.

Where does this leave a congregation, how can they possibly understand about these things if the Pastor does not know?

Thinking about it, the more 'relevant' we christians become, to the world, the less relevant we all are actually, to the world. :(
