This pastor had worked in the Ministry for 40 years and I wondered how he could possibly in all that time, not learn about something that was so influential in the new Testament period?
A Pastor needs to take the time to learn these kinds of things and teach the congregation so that the congregation can understand and interpret their Bible well.

Think about this, the more 'relevant' we christians become, to the world, the less relevant we christians are in point of fact, to the world. :-(
